In 1854, Louis Vuitton founded the brand of the same name. Five years later, the workshop headquarters in Paris could not adapt to the needs of the fast-growing business, so it was relocated to Asnieres, a village in the northwest of Paris, a few kilometers away. The Asnieres workshop is both the founder’s former residence and the famous luggage-making workshop. Today, more than 160 years later, it is still the soul of Louis Vuitton.
